The volunteer help of Mr. Krueger's Transition Skills class was welcomed by the staff of the Aitkin Public Library as they assisted in clearing the last of summer's weeds from their gardens. Lead Librarian Mandie Krueger told students "A lot of people don't know that libraries depend on volunteers to keep their doors open so we really appreciate you all for coming to help us today." The staff showed their gratitude by providing the volunteers with a free book and a refreshing can of pop for their hard work.
