Rippleside Book Fair Starts December 2nd
The annual Rippleside book fair will run from December 2nd-6th. This year, students can select the book they want and parents can pay for it online at the book fair website. The book fair will be open most days 8am-3pm with extended hours on Tuesday until 7pm. It will close on Friday at 12pm. Please stop in or order online to buy great books and support our school's library.
AHS 7th and 8th Grade Choirs and Ensembles Holiday Concert
On Monday Dec. 9th the 7th and 8th Grade Boys and Girls Choirs and the 7th and 8th Grade Instrumental Ensembles will present their annual Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. in the AHS Auditorium. The choirs are directed by Kelly Blake and Becky Klingelhofer is the accompanist. Mr. Chris Halvorson is the director of the bands.
Come, see and hear the 7th and 8th Grade Choirs and Instrumental Ensembles as they sing and play songs of the holiday season! The concert is free and all are welcome. See you on Monday Dec. 9th at 7:30 p.m! Additional concert information can be found here.

Telephone and Internet Assistance Available to Low Income Consumers
Minnesota's Telephone ASsistance Plan (TAP) and the federal LIFELINE Program help make telephone service affordable to low-income consumers. For qualifying information and available discounts, see the full information here.
Updated School Transportation Policy Aitkin schools have updated their transportation policy. Please read the following information and fill out the included transportation form if needed. Transportation forms must be completed by August 2nd to guarantee transportation for the upcoming school year.

SPORTS ELIGIBILITY PACKETS
for grades 7-12 are available in the high school office. These packets need to be filled out one time each year for students participating in sports and/or fine arts activities. Sports physicals are good for 3 years. Sports fees are $100 for grades 9-12 and $55 for grades 7-8 and can be paid in the office. Be sure to get your packet and fee in BEFORE the first day of practice!
2019-2020 Preschool Registration
Online registration for pre-school begins May 2nd at 5:30 pm. See the full flyer for all the classes and times offered.
