Fall Sports
Girls Basketball Camp
Join the Varsity Coaching staff for some basketball fun! Attention will be given to fundamentals and basic skills for success. All skill levels are invited!
When:
Girls entering grades 3&4: June 20-24 from 1pm-4pm
Girls entering grades 5&6: June 6-9 from 1-4pm
Girls entering grades 7&8: June 6-9 from 9 am - Noon
Girls entering grades 9-12: June 20-24 from 9am-Noon
Where: Aitkin High School gymnasiums

Basketball Open Gym
The basketball coaches are getting together to make sure the gyms are open for shooting and scrimmages all summer long! Please register online if you plan to attend. This allows us to email you if we need to cancel a session or give you specific information. You can come a few times or every time! Just come and play!
When: Monday/Wednesday/Fridays in June, July, August

Elementary Tennis Camp
Come learn the basics of a game that you can play throughout your lifetime! Tennis rackets are available to borrow if you don't have one. Please bring a filled water bottle from home. Register based on grades entering in the fall.
When: Monday, Wednesday, Friday June 6, 8 10, 13, 15, 17

Tracy Kennedy Tennis Camp
Join assistant high school tennis coach Tracy Kennedy for a summer of advanced tennis. This camp is intended for varsity and junior varsity skill levels.
When: Tuesday/Thursdays June 14 - July 25 (no July 5/7)
Time: 7:30-9:30am

SSA
Strength, Speed, and Agility - important things that all athletes need! This is a 6 week program for those entering 7-12th grades. Classes will be held in both the weight room and the old gym. Please register online to reserve your spot. Paperwork will be handed out the first week.
Grades 9-12 boys and girls will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7-9am
Grades 7 and 8 boys and girls will be Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9am
There is not classes the week of July 4-8
This is a free program paid for by the Aitkin Quarterbacks Club.
Girls Volleyball Camp
Join former Aitkin Grad and University of Jamestown Alumni Ellie Michaletz for a volleyball camp full of fun! Learn basic fundamentals and watch your game progress.
When: July 11-13

Girls entering grades 4-6th: 8:00-9:00am - $50

5th/6th Grade Tackle Football Camp
Get ready for the fall football season with this pre-season camp! Get your equipment, meet the coaches, learn the drills and get ready for the season! Regular season will start the week of August 29th. More information about that will come out in the Fall Accent.

Last Chance Wrestling Camp
Aitkin Wrestling Club and The Scoring Edge Wrestling Center are coming together to offer The Last Chance Wrestling Camp again this year. Join Hayden Zillmer and other highly skilled instructors for 2 days of wrestling fun! Designed for all wrestlers of any age or experience.
When: Friday August 5th and Saturday August 6th
Time: 8:15-2:30 on Friday, 9-1:30 on Saturday
Who: Wrestlers in completed grades k-12
Where: Rippleside Elementary School
Cost: $85/individual, $65 for each additional family member
T-ball
T-Ball is the first introduction to baseball where children learn to throw, catch, and run the bases. Parent participation is encouraged! The first portion of practice will be spent on skill development, followed by a friendly scrimmage.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays August 1-17
Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm
Who: Boys and girls age 3-6

Young Hitters
Young Hitters is a coach pitch game for skill levels beyond t-ball. The first portion of practice will be spent on skills, then they will scrimmage each other in a friendly game. Parent participation is encouraged.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays August 1-17
Time: 6:15 - 7:15pm
Who: Boys and girls age 5+ who do not need a tee to hit
Where: Roost fields behind Rippleside

Soccer
While soccer is not an organized sport in Aitkin, it is something that kids enjoy playing! Sign them up to learn the basics of the sport and play in modified games based on the number of kids.

ELEMENTARY VOLLEYBALL HS MENTOR CAMP
Great opportunity for elementary students interested in volleyball to join our Aitkin HS athletes and coach to work on volleyball skills and have some fun growing our love of the game together! Each day we will work on skills and play some games and get to know our HS mentors a little better as we prepare for the fall season!
