SnoDaze CoronationKnowledge Bowl Success in StaplesOur kids did it again! Today (2/1/24) the Aitkin high school knowledge bowl participants traveled to the CLC Staples campus for the second meet of the season. Twenty-nine total teams from the Upsala, Henning, Long Prairie, Pierz, Nevis, Sebeka and Aitkin school districts took part in this event and, by the end of the day, three of our Gobbler "own" placed high enough to earn ribbons. Earning fifth place was the team comprised of Mallory Leitinger, Kendall Ratz, Kira Hamilton and Lexi Hills. Battling tooth and nail with our first place team but coming up a mere half point short was the runner up team whose membership boasted the likes of Aaron Morris, Tolo May, William Vogtlin and Tanner Koonce. Today's posse of champions included Zander Peterson, Will Henline, Eliot Christensen and Reese Wendlandt. Great job!
