Aitkin All Starz State High Kick and Jazz Champions

College in the Schools Presentation Thursday, March 2, 7:00 PM in the HS Auditorium. A representative from Central Lakes College will present information for parents of 10th and 11th graders. Students are also encouraged to attend.
EHNSTROM breaks 1,000th point at Onamia
With 12:52 remaining in the first half, Taylor Ehnstrom scored her 1,000th point on a 3-pointer at Onamia. Aitkin picked up the win by a score of 65-38. Taylor is just the sixth girl in program history to reach this milestone and the only sibling to accomplish the feat as her brother, Nathan Ehnstrom (Class of 2014), also surpassed the 1,000-point mark. The Gobblers improved to 14-8 overall and 11-3 in the Great River Conference. The team faces undefeated conference foe Rush City Friday night at home. Congratulations Taylor!
Free Dental Checkups Lakes and Pines Head Start has partnered with Children's Dental Services to provide free dental check ups in Aitkin on Wednesday March 15th 2017. It is for children 0-12 and pregnant women. Please see flyer attached for more info.

Passport to Kindergarten The Aitkin Children’s Center in partnership with staff from Rippleside will host a Passport to Kindergarten Class. Passport to Kindergarten is a class that children and parents attend together. During this class parents and children will participate in activities that will prepare them for the transition from early childhood into kindergarten.
