High School Parent-Teacher Conferences
High school conferences will take place Wednesday, October 8th from 4:30-8:20.
7th Grade Conferences
The 7th grade teachers will be having scheduled group conferences during the high school conferences. Please read here for further information.The 7th grade teachers will only be available to meet with parents of senior high students from 7:30-8:20
Special Olympics
The Aitkin Special Olympics Team competed yesterday in Brainerd in the Area 5 bowling competition. Placing in 2nd place was Evan Raushel. Veronica Jones and Danielle Lynn placed 1st in their individual Divisions. Congratulations and thanks for representing Aitkin Public Schools!
Tennis Update
Over the weekend we had our conference tourney. Clarie Browning took the conference championship at 1st singles and Lisa Anderson/Marissa Kinzer took the 1st doubles championship. Our team was the Granite Ridge Academic conference champs with 3.92 cumulative GPA. Our team is 14-5 on the season. Monday October 6th we will be playing Eveleth for the first round of sub-sections. Wednesday October 8th will be the individual sub-sections with 6 participants Claire, Lisa, Marissa, Lydia Browning, Maren Butenhoff and Elise Courtemanche. If we win Monday the team advances to the next Monday for section semis and if individuals advance they play Tuesday the 14th for a chance to go to state.
Flu Shots
Flu shots will be offered for students and families during High School Conferences on October 8th. For more information, click here.
BPA Fundraiser
There will be a BPA fundraiser at Traditions Mini Golf Saturday, September 27 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Golf is only $6.75 a person for 18 holes, both students and their families are welcome to come. Make sure to be there early before the frozen yogurt runs out.

Grade 9-12: 2014-2015 Supply Lists:
There are no specific supply lists for students in grades 8-12. Students should come prepared for the first day of school with pens, pencils, notebooks and a folder for each class. Teachers will inform students of other supplies needed.
